Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service that encourages repeat visits. Manage POS systems such as TOAST for accurate order processing, billing, and cash handling. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards and sanitation protocols. Handle cash transactions efficiently, balancing registers at shift end while ensuring accuracy in retail math and cash handling procedures. Assist with food service when needed, including serving snacks or light meals in fine dining or nightclub settings. Support event setups such as banquets or catering functions by preparing drinks and ensuring smooth service flow. Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure compliance with alcohol service regulations. Collaborate with team members to create a lively atmosphere that enhances guest enjoyment while maintaining safety standards. Qualifications Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet environments; previous food industry or hospitality experience is highly valued. Familiarity with POS systems such as TOAST for efficient order processing and cashiering. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously during busy hours. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism. Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service regulations. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math calculations, and billing procedures. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced setting such as nightclubs or restaurants. Nice-to-have skills include banquet experience, catering support skills, brewing knowledge, and familiarity with serving in retail or food service environments.
