As a Bartender at Urban Grub At 12th South, L.L.C., you will be at the forefront of our customer experience, responsible for preparing and serving beverages with precision and flair. This role requires a passion for cocktails, wine, a commitment to excellent guest service, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to company specifications for guests at the bar and dining area. Engage with guests to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Maintain a clean and organized bar area, complying with sanitation and safety standards. Manage inventory and bar supplies, making sure the bar is well-stocked and orderly. Collaborate with the rest of the restaurant team to facilitate smooth service operations and promote an environment of teamwork.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a bartender with strong skills in mixology, preferably in a high-volume environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; must be able to engage pleasantly with guests. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure. Knowledge of current health and safety regulations related to alcoholic beverage service, including safe alcohol service certifications (e.g., TIPS Certification). The design and concept evolved over the 13 months it took to take a little carwash to the multi-environment restaurant/bar/patio/beer garden that opened in April 2012. Urban Grub offers a feeling of coziness with its private cabanas and its many fire pits as well as the open air atmosphere in the beer garden with in-outdoor bar.
