The ideal candidate is bilingual in English & Spanish, and has bartending experience before or shows the competency needed to do well in the job. You will be responsible for crafting beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. Your role is crucial in ensuring that patrons enjoy their time while adhering to food safety standards. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences. Engage with customers to take drink orders, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, restocking as necessary. Adhere to all food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines. Assist in setting up for special events or banquets as needed. Handle cash transactions accurately using basic math skills and Aloha POS system. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and drinks. Qualifications Previous experience in hospitality or bartending is preferred but not required. Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell beverages effectively. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential. Familiarity with banquet service is a plus. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory management. Experience with brewing techniques or knowledge of various drink recipes is advantageous. Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor to engage with guests effectively. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
