Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated bartender to join our vibrant food service team. As a bartender , you will be the face of our restaurant, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, expert food and beverage knowledge, and a welcoming attitude. Your role is vital in creating memorable dining moments, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and sanitation. Duties Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and specials. Take accurate orders using POS System- SQUARE and ensuring all requests are clearly communicated to the kitchen and bar staff. Upsell menu items and beverage options to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation quality and adhering to food safety standards. Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns quickly, and ensuring overall satisfaction throughout the dining experience. Clear bar efficiently by bussing and resetting for new guests, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards at all times. Handle cash transactions accurately through POS system or cash handling procedures, balancing registers at shift end Maintain a clean work environment by following sanitation protocols, including proper food handling and sanitation practices in line with health regulations. Requirements Previous restaurant and bartending experience or food service background is preferred, especially in fine dining. Proficiency with POS systems such as SQUARE is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and billing purposes accurately. Experience with upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while enhancing guest satisfaction. Culinary or kitchen experience is a plus for supporting food prep or assisting in kitchen operations when needed. Good physical stamina to stand, walk, carry trays, and perform cleaning duties throughout shifts.
