Job Description
The Role We're looking for a personable, enthusiastic bartender to join our tasting room team on a part-time basis. You'll be the face of Aerodrome Distilling for our guests — guiding them through our spirit lineup, crafting cocktails, and creating an experience that keeps people coming back. No prior distillery experience is required; we'll teach you everything you need to know about our products. What we can't teach is a great attitude and a genuine love of hospitality. Responsibilities Welcome and engage guests in a warm, knowledgeable manner Conduct guided tastings of our spirit portfolio, explaining production methods, flavor profiles, and our story Prepare cocktails and other beverages to consistent standards Process sales of bottles, merchandise, and cocktails via our POS system Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area throughout your shift Ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with Texas TABC regulations Assist with tasting room events, private parties, and special releases Restock inventory and communicate supply needs to management Represent Aerodrome Distilling with professionalism and enthusiasm at all times What We're Looking For Outgoing personality with genuine enjoyment of talking to people Ability to learn and speak confidently about our spirits and production process Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Comfortable standing for extended periods and working in a fast-paced environment Must be 21 years of age or older Must be able to obtain TABC seller-server certification (we will assist with this) Previous bartending or hospitality experience is a plus, but not required — we're happy to train the right person Schedule This is a part-time position. Shifts are primarily on weekends with some weekday availability depending on events and season. Flexibility is appreciated. Compensation Hourly pay commensurate with experience, plus tips. Tasting room staff also receive an employee discount on Aerodrome spirits and merchandise.
