Job Description

Position Summary The Barback supports bar operations by ensuring the bar is fully stocked, clean, and operating efficiently at all times. This role works closely with bartenders to maintain speed of service, cleanliness, and compliance with all alcohol service regulations. Key Responsibilities Stock bar with liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, and supplies Refill garnishes, cups, napkins, and bar tools Maintain cleanliness of bar tops, service areas, and storage spaces Assist bartenders with opening, closing, and shift change tasks Remove empty bottles, trash, and recyclables Monitor inventory levels and notify management of shortages Follow all alcohol service laws and company policies Support peak hours, events, and high-volume periods Qualifications Strong work ethic and sense of urgency Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Team-oriented and responsive to bartender direction Reliable attendance and punctuality Requirements Must be at least 18 years old (or per state/local law) Ability to obtain required alcohol service certification (TABC) Preferred (Not Required) Prior bar, restaurant, or food service experience Experience in high-volume or entertainment venues Physical Requirements Standing and walking for extended periods Frequent lifting of kegs, cases, or supplies up to 50 lbs Bending, reaching, and repetitive movement Schedule Nights, weekends, holidays, and peak hours required Part-time positions available
