Description Lead Bartender Horseshoe Bay Resort Horseshoe Bay Resort is a premier destination located on Lake LBJ in the Texas Hill Country, offering luxury accommodations, dining, and recreational amenities in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Position Summary The Lead Bartender is responsible for delivering high-quality beverage service while supporting shift leadership and daily bar operations. This role ensures consistent execution of beverage standards, maintains inventory and cleanliness, and provides guidance to team members to ensure efficient and professional service. Key Responsibilities Lead bar operations during assigned shifts and support team performance
Prepare and serve beverages in accordance with established recipes and service standards
Maintain knowledge of wines, beers, and spirits to support guest service
Monitor inventory levels, place requisitions, and maintain bar organization
Ensure compliance with TABC regulations, safety standards, and sanitation requirements
Conduct pre-shift communication and assist with daily reporting
Support staffing needs, including adjusting assignments and assisting with coverage as needed Qualifications Previous bartending experience required; upscale or high-volume environment preferred
Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Valid TABC and Food Handler certifications required
Minimum age: 18+ (21+ preferred)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills Skills & Competencies Ability to lead and support team members during service
