Full Job Description Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests
- Take drink orders and serve beverages in a timely manner
- Prepare and mix alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to recipes and customer preferences
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including organizing supplies and cleaning glasses and utensils
- Upsell food and beverage items to increase sales
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages
- Serving tables when available
Experience:
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service industry preferred
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus
- Strong math skills for calculating bills, handling cash, and making change
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service during busy periods
- Knowledge of catering practices and ability to handle large groups of customers
- Understanding of food handling regulations and ability to follow proper hygiene practices
- Proven sales skills to promote specials, upsell, and increase revenue
- Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment As a bartender, you will have the opportunity to showcase your mixology skills while providing exceptional customer service.
