Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system. Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, adhering to safety standards and recipes. Provide attentive customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive dining or nightlife experience. Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently through effective time management and prioritization. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties such as processing payments and giving change while maintaining POS system integrity. Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in all serving areas, following proper food handling procedures. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any service issues swiftly. Support catering or banquet events by serving food and beverages in a professional manner. Uphold responsible alcohol service practices in compliance with legal regulations and company policies. Experience Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous. Strong skills in sales, cash handling, retail math, and basic math are essential for efficient transactions. Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality customer service. Experience with food safety protocols and food handling procedures to ensure guest safety. Knowledge of the food industry trends related to brewing, catering, or hospitality enhances your ability to serve diverse guest needs. Excellent communication skills coupled with a friendly demeanor will help create an engaging environment for all patrons.
