Manage cash handling and POS transactions efficiently using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring accuracy at all times. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards. Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and prevent over-service or intoxication. Collaborate with kitchen staff during events like banquets or catering functions to ensure seamless service delivery. Handle food safety procedures diligently when serving food alongside beverages, including proper food handling practices. Utilize effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts, ensuring prompt service without sacrificing quality. Skills Proven experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings demonstrating excellent customer service skills. Familiarity with POS systems for efficient sales processing. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques within the food industry. Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, retail math calculations, and drink measurements. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously while maintaining high service standards. Experience in serving alcohol responsibly and understanding alcohol laws related to the hospitality industry. Knowledge of brewing techniques or beverage trends is a plus for engaging guests with specialty drinks. Effective communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members in a lively environment.
