In this dynamic role, you'll be the backbone of the bar operation, supporting bartenders and ensuring a smooth, efficient service environment. Your proactive approach to cleaning, food preparation, and customer service will keep the bar area inviting, organized, and ready for action. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a lively nightclub or restaurant setting while contributing to a fun and energetic atmosphere. Responsibilities Assist bartenders by restocking supplies such as liquor, mixers, garnishes, and glassware to maintain seamless service flow Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including wiping down surfaces, cleaning glassware, and disposing of trash to uphold health standards Support food preparation tasks like garnishing drinks and preparing simple snacks or accompaniments for patrons Buss tables and clear empty glasses or dishes promptly to keep the bar and dining areas tidy Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for cash handling, order processing, and transactions with accuracy Help with food handling and catering setups for events or banquet services within the venue Communicate effectively with team members to ensure guest needs are met swiftly and professionally Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key Knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Experience working in nightclubs, banquet settings, catering events, or hotel environments is advantageous Strong cleaning skills and attention to hygiene standards are essential Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and interact positively with guests Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and nights as required by nightlife or event schedules Prior experience in food handling, bussing, serving, or barista roles will be considered a bonus Embark on a lively career journey where your proactive spirit fuels exceptional guest experiences.
