Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Engage with guests to understand their preferences, recommend drinks, and upsell menu items to enhance sales opportunities. Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling protocols at all times. Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering duties, processing payments accurately, and balancing registers at shift end. Monitor guest behavior in nightlife or banquet environments to ensure safety and compliance with alcohol service regulations. Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and utensils regularly to ensure smooth operations during busy hours. Collaborate with kitchen staff for timely food service in catering or restaurant settings, ensuring seamless guest experiences. Skills Proven experience in food service or hospitality environments, especially within fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings. Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; strong basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that energizes guests. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during peak hours. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety. Experience in serving alcohol responsibly while adhering to legal regulations; familiarity with alcohol service policies is a plus.
