Responsibilities Greet guests warmly as they arrive, taking orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Prepare and serve beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to all food safety and food handling standards. Manage cash register operations with precision, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments swiftly and accurately. Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and suggesting specials or drink pairings to enhance their experience. Assist in setting up and breaking down bar areas for daytime service, including restocking supplies and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly. Support catering or banquet events during daytime hours when needed, applying your skills in serving and hospitality to ensure flawless execution. Qualifications Previous experience working as a bartender or cashier in a restaurant, retail, or food service environment is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process transactions efficiently. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks smoothly during busy daytime hours. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques to ensure guest safety. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that creates welcoming atmospheres for diverse guests. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order processing. Experience in fine dining, nightclub settings, or banquet environments is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential.
