Job:
The Bartender will prepare and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages to patrons, oversee the stock of liquor and bar supplies, and collect money for drinks served.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of The Mexican Team Member include, but are not limited to: Greet all guests as they arrive and leave the restaurant bar with an upbeat, friendly manner Demonstrate a fun and welcoming attitude and effectively work as a team to ensure the highest level of service for all guests. Receives orders from patrons and waitstaff. Prepares and serves liquor, mixed drinks, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic drinks as ordered. Ensures that fruit and other garnishes are prepared ahead of the opening of the bar. Maintains the bar and keeps it clean and organized. Attractively displays glasses and liquor bottles. Ensures that customers are of legal drinking age by checking photo IDs, required by TABC regulations. Collects money from customers for drinks prepared and served. Uses proper judgment and, when necessary, refuses service to patrons who are intoxicated or disruptive. Submits orders or creates requisition forms for liquor, beer, and other bar-related supplies Informs management of guests concerns at all times. Must review and abide by all company policies and procedures as outlined. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Flexible schedule with weekend, holidays, and evening availability. Teamwork oriented, fun, energetic, friendly, and passionate. Must attend and successfully complete orientation, and Team Member training program prior to working a shift. Must successfully attend, complete and maintain all other required training in compliance with local and state regulations, such as food and/or alcohol service certifications.

The physical demands described here are the representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. This role requires the ability to move, push and lift up to 40 lbs. Standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods of time and ensuring a professional appearance in a clean uniform are also required.
