Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods securely. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations. Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and prevent over-service; assist in managing crowd flow during busy hours. Restock bar supplies, ingredients, glassware, and utensils proactively to ensure smooth operations throughout shifts. Collaborate with kitchen staff during banquet events or catering functions to ensure seamless service delivery. Requirements Proven experience as a bartender or in food service within a restaurant, nightclub, or banquet setting; fine dining experience is highly valued. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally. Knowledge of food safety practices and responsible alcohol service regulations. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours. Ability to stand for extended periods while maintaining energy and focus throughout shifts.
