$5.50 per hour Join our vibrant team as a Barback during the 12pm-7pm shift, where your energetic support keeps our bar or event space running smoothly! As a vital behind-the-scenes contributor, you'll assist bartenders and staff by ensuring the bar area is clean, stocked, and ready for action. Your proactive attitude and attention to detail will help create an exceptional experience for our guests. This paid position offers a dynamic environment where teamwork, hospitality, and efficiency come together to deliver unforgettable moments. Duties Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including wiping down surfaces, cleaning glassware, and restocking supplies regularly throughout your shift Assist with food preparation tasks such as garnishing drinks, preparing simple snacks, or setting up catering stations as needed Restock bar inventory including bottles, mixers, garnishes, and utensils to ensure smooth service during busy hours Support bartenders by bussing tables, clearing empty glasses, and managing waste to keep the environment tidy and inviting Operate POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for cash handling and order processing with accuracy and efficiency Help with food handling duties in compliance with health standards to ensure guest safety and satisfaction Provide excellent customer service by engaging politely with guests and responding promptly to their needs Requirements Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or related roles such as restaurant, catering, or hotel work is preferred Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong cleaning skills and attention to detail to maintain a hygienic environment Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and guest interactions Experience in nightclub or banquet settings is advantageous but not required Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards in the food industry Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks efficiently Join us in delivering lively experiences while honing your skills in a fast-paced hospitality environment!
