Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled craft focused Bartender to join our dynamic team in a casual fine dining environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in fine dining, or mixology focused settings and possess a passion for providing exceptional service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with established recipes and standards. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and offering recommendations based on their preferences. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining proper cash handling procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of any shortages. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operation during busy service periods. Stay informed about new drink recipes, trends in the beverage industry, and local craft brews to enhance guest experience. Qualifications Previous bartending experience in fine dining, catering, or nightclub environments is preferred. Strong knowledge of beverage preparation techniques including brewing methods and cocktail mixing. Excellent math skills for cash handling and inventory management; familiarity with retail math is a plus. Exceptional hospitality skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail. Must be at least 21 years of age as per legal requirements for serving alcohol.
