Bartender/Server We are seeking friendly and customer-oriented individual with bartending and serving experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be willing to work a hybrid schedule of bartending and serving shifts as needed. Evening and weekend availability is required.- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Servers must have a current Texas Food Handlers Certificate
- Must be 18 years of age or older if serving alcohol and a current Texas Alcohol Beverage Commission
- (TABC) certificate
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Prepare food and drinks according to restaurant standards
- Maintain a clean and organized bar/dining area
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns or complaints
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
- Work a variable and flexible schedule which may include nights, weekends and holidays Responsibilities
- Communicate with guests clearly, patiently, and courtesy
- Takes orders and serves food and beverages to guests
- Responsible for all aspects of professional food service and guest satisfaction
- Accurately record and account for all items ordered and served
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Communicate clearly with the kitchen both verbally and utilizing the computer register system
- Present and encourage current promotional information and materials to guest
- Notify guest of any automatic gratuity
- Perform varied duties to ensure all aspects of service according to standing operating procedure
- Other duties as assigned
