The ideal candidate will have experience in food and beverage service, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role involves preparing and serving drinks in a fast-paced environment, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is preferred, along with strong time management and sales skills. The Hotel Bartender will contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests across various settings including fine dining, nightclubs, banquet events, and catering services. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with hotel standards. Use POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for order entry, billing, and cash handling. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests professionally and courteously. Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and ensure proper food safety and sanitation procedures are followed. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties. Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces. Assist in setting up for events such as banquets or catering functions as needed. Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking practices. Collaborate with kitchen staff for timely food service during events or dining hours. Ensure compliance with all health regulations related to food handling and beverage service. Qualifications Proven experience in bartending within hotels, restaurants, nightclubs, or banquet settings preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and alcohol service regulations. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods. Demonstrated sales ability to upsell drinks and promote specials effectively. Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Ability to serve alcohol responsibly while maintaining guest safety. Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy; retail math knowledge is a plus. Experience in fine dining, catering, or hospitality environments is desirable. Knowledge of brewing processes or food industry standards is advantageous but not required.
