Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring consistency and quality. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service from greeting to farewell. Manage multiple orders efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, accurately processing transactions and handling cash or card payments. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times. Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment, especially in nightlife or nightclub settings, and address any issues promptly. Restock bar supplies as needed, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and utensils. Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to ensure seamless service delivery. Skills Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and ability to handle diverse guest needs. Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining high standards of service. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math for inventory management, and calculating drink recipes. Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures in the food industry. Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with legal regulations; knowledge of brewing processes is a plus. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in fast-paced environments like nightclubs or hospitality venues.
