Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently, ensuring quality standards are met. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, payments, and cash handling with accuracy. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure safety at all times. Handle cash transactions, perform basic math calculations for bills, tips, and change, ensuring accuracy at all times. Support nightclub or event operations by serving drinks efficiently during high-volume periods. Uphold food safety standards related to food handling and beverage preparation to maintain health regulations. Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies, checking expiration dates, and reporting shortages. Requirements Proven experience as a bartender or in food service within fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly desirable. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, billing, and retail math calculations. Experience working in the food industry or hospitality sector is advantageous; retail math skills are a plus. Must be 18 years or older with proper serving certifications as required by local regulations. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special events such as banquets or nightclubs.
