Bartender

Job Summary We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Bartender to join our dynamic team at the brand new, Nacho Bravo. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food and beverage service, excellent customer service skills, and experience in fast-paced hospitality environments such as fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, engaging with guests, and ensuring a memorable experience for all patrons. Knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS, along with strong time management and sales skills, are essential to succeed in this position. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems. Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing exceptional customer service. Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations for bills and payments. Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the bar area according to health regulations. Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages as needed to ensure smooth operations during shifts. Take orders for food service when applicable, including catering or banquet events. Assist with setup and breakdown of bar area for special events or nightclubs. Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment, adhering to alcohol service policies. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy hours. Qualifications Proven experience in food industry roles such as restaurant, retail math, or hospitality environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally. Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail. Basic math skills for cash handling, cashiering, and sales transactions. Experience in serving alcohol responsibly in accordance with legal requirements. Previous experience in banquet or catering settings is advantageous but not required.
