Status:
Non-Exempt/HourlyESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
: Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks, with a focus on quality and presentation. Provide friendly and efficient service to guests, engaging with them to understand their preferences and make drink recommendations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including bar equipment, glassware, and supplies. Ensure compliance with beverage and health regulations, including responsible alcohol service and sanitation standards. Collaborate with barbacks, servers, and kitchen staff to fulfill guest orders promptly and accurately. Enter orders into the point of sale system, process payments, and manage cash transactions.QUALIFICATIONS
Proven experience as a Bartender in a high-volume bar or restaurant environment. Extensive knowledge of mixology, drink recipes, and beverage trends. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced setting. Ability to work effectively as part of a team, multitask, and maintain composure under pressure. Must be 21 years of age or older. Physical stamina and ability to lift and carry heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in a physically demanding environment. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess or obtain a valid food handlers permit within 30 days of employment. Must possess or obtain a valid alcohol service permit within 30 days of employment. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
