Bartender

Overview We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team! Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing recommendations and answering questions about drinks and menu items. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering, processing payments, and giving accurate change using retail math skills. Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure safety at all times. Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages as needed to keep the bar fully equipped during shifts. Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering events or banquet functions to ensure seamless service delivery. Qualifications Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is essential for efficient order processing. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally. Demonstrated time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques is required. Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and sales transactions. Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in accordance with legal regulations; certifications in responsible beverage service are a plus.
