Job Description
Support Bartender Operations:
o Assist bartenders by restocking liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, and glassware throughout service. o Ensure the bar is fully stocked, organized, and functioning efficiently at all times.Maintain Cleanliness:
o Keep the bar area, backbar, and storage areas clean and free of debris. o Regularly remove trash, empty glass bins, and sanitize surfaces according to health and safety standards.Stock and Replenish Supplies:
o Refill ice bins, beverage stations, and bar tools during service. o Replace empty kegs and restock items before, during, and after shifts.Prepare Garnishes and Bar Tools:
o Wash, cut, and stock garnishes such as citrus fruits and herbs. o Ensure bar tools like shakers, strainers, and openers are clean and available. Assist withOpening and Closing Duties:
o Set up the bar for service, including stocking and prepping items. o Break down and clean the bar area post-service according to closing checklists.Maintain Organization and Safety:
o Keep storage areas organized and adhere to proper lifting and handling procedures.REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must have the ability to communicate in English. Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Ability to meet standards of appearance. Can communicate well with guests. Ability to transport up to 30 lbs. through a crowded room on a continuous basis throughout the shift. Must be willing to "pitch-in" and help co workers with their job duties and be a team player.PERFORMANCE STANDARDS
