restaurant foraged. at patowmack farm is seeking a lead bartender to help build and execute our cocktail and mocktail program as part of our hyper-seasonal tasting menu. This is not a traditional bar-only position. The lead bartender will work closely with the chef and kitchen team to develop seasonal beverages that reflect what is growing, preserved, foraged, and sourced locally in real time. This role will also be guest-facing, helping run drinks and food to the dining room while supporting the overall flow of service. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, hospitality-driven, and excited to work in a restaurant where the beverage program is treated as an extension of the kitchen. responsibilities Develop and execute seasonal cocktails and mocktails alongside the chef Work with farm-grown, foraged, preserved, and locally sourced ingredients Prepare syrups, infusions, shrubs, juices, garnishes, ferments, teas, and other beverage components Maintain consistency and quality across all cocktails, mocktails, and non-alcoholic pairings Support the beverage pairing program and help create drinks that complement the tasting menu Work in the kitchen during prep and service, communicating closely with the chef and culinary team Run drinks and food to guests during service when needed Help explain beverage pairings, cocktails, mocktails, and ingredients to guests Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient beverage station Monitor inventory, ordering needs, waste, and proper storage Assist with private events, large parties, and special menus Help train front-of-house staff on beverage knowledge and service standards ideal candidate Has previous bartending, cocktail, or beverage experience Is interested in seasonal ingredients, local farms, preservation, and foraging Enjoys working closely with the kitchen and being part of the creative process Has strong attention to detail and consistency Is organized, clean, and able to manage prep lists and service needs Is comfortable being guest-facing and speaking about ingredients and beverages Can support both beverage service and food running during a busy dinner service Communicates clearly and works well with both kitchen and front-of-house teams Is creative but understands that every drink should support the overall menu and guest experience Stays calm, focused, and professional during service schedule This is a full-time position.
