Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Server/Host, where your energy and hospitality skills will create memorable dining experiences for our guests. In this vibrant role, you'll be the first point of contact, welcoming guests with enthusiasm and guiding them seamlessly through their visit. Whether taking orders, managing reservations, or ensuring guest satisfaction, your positive attitude and attention to detail will be key to our success. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your food service expertise in a lively, fast-paced environment that values exceptional guest relations and teamwork. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservation bookings using OpenTable or similar systems Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and answering initial questions about the menu offerings Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for efficient processing Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and resetting dining areas to ensure a clean and welcoming environment Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and professionally Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightlife environments such as nightclubs Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor Ability to manage time efficiently during busy shifts and multitask effectively Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and basic food safety practices Experience in serving, bussing, or host/hostess roles within the food industry is a plus Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive guest relations Basic math skills for cashiering and transaction processing Culinary or kitchen experience is beneficial but not required; a willingness to learn is valued Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering outstanding hospitality.
