Server/Bartender

SUMMARY The Stockpot is a busy healthy comfort food restaurant in Virginia Beach and Downtown Norfolk. We specialize in bone broths, soups, salads, and toasts that strive to showcase seasonal and local ingredients. We are looking for experienced Servers/Bartenders to join our small, but fast-paced restaurant! We are seeking individuals who have experience in the food service industry and who are committed to quality food presentation and great service. We are looking for a Part Time Employee, with the potential for Full Time in the future. Employees must be available weekends and morning shifts starting as early as 6:15AM. We are occasionally open evenings for special and private events. We rotate host shifts amongst the team weekly, so please be open to working a host shift every other week. This is

position! We are looking for a long term employee.

• Hiring part time hours. All employees are at a higher hourly rate, plus tip share, which equates to a range of $20-30 an hour.

SERVER/BARTENDER RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

• must have strong work ethic. Please do not apply if you are not serious about working.
• be on time and dressed in uniform
• complete daily opening/closing duties and side work.
• be able to work in a close environment with other team members
• communication skills and able to multi-task for long periods at a time
• great interactions with guests
• POS experience required
• at least 2+ year restaurant experience
• excellent time management skills. must be quick moving to keep up with our fast-paced kitchen.
• ability to lift at least 40 lbs on a regular basis
• must have AM availability and weekends
