Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Bartender or Bar Back, where your energy and enthusiasm will create memorable experiences for guests in lively bar and restaurant environments. In this role, you will be the heartbeat of the bar area, delivering exceptional customer service, expertly mixing drinks, and maintaining a vibrant atmosphere. Whether you're crafting signature cocktails or supporting the bartenders behind the scenes, your contribution is essential to ensuring our guests enjoy an unforgettable time. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, energetic setting while working alongside passionate hospitality professionals. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Assist bartenders with stocking supplies, garnishes, glassware, and maintaining cleanliness of the bar area. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience and promote sales. Manage cash handling, POS transactions (including Aloha POS and Micros POS systems), and ensure accurate billing. Uphold food safety and responsible alcohol service policies at all times to ensure guest safety. Support event setups such as banquets or catering functions by providing timely beverage service. Maintain a clean, organized bar environment by following sanitation protocols and food handling guidelines. Requirements Previous experience in food service, retail math, or hospitality environments is preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus. Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks during busy shifts effectively. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally. Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and retail math calculations. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift supplies as needed in a fast-paced setting. Food safety certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire is preferred.
