We're seeking a polished, hospitality-driven Server / Bartender who takes pride in elevated service and creating memorable guest experiences. At Sparrow, we're known for a high-touch dining experience, a standout bar program with fresh, house-prepped ingredients, and an extensive wine and cocktail selection, all delivered with warmth and professionalism.
Position Details Job Type:
Part-time or full-time
Hours:
Typically 30-35 hours/week
Compensation:
$45-$65/hour (minimum wage hourly + tips)
Availability:
Flexible availability required Responsibilities Deliver exceptional, attentive service with confident pacing and strong table presence Provide knowledgeable guidance on food, cocktails, and wine, including thoughtful pairing suggestions Maintain strong menu and allergy awareness to support a safe, seamless guest experience Support service flow and communication between FOH and BOH for consistent execution Assist with guest recovery when needed, handling issues with calm professionalism Maintain a clean, organized workspace and uphold Sparrow's standards throughout service Qualifications 3+ years of serving and/or bartending experience in an elevated, high-volume restaurant Working knowledge of wine varietals, regions, and basic pairings, with the ability to confidently guide guest selections. Strong attention to detail and a pride-in-the-work mindset Excellent communication skills and a team-first attitude Ability to stay composed, warm, and efficient in a fast-paced environment Benefits Paid time off (PTO) Employee dining discounts
