Newly opened in the heart of beautiful downtown Langley, The Langley Sidebar is not just a bar, it is a destination. Located across from the stunning Whidbey Island waterfront, The Langley Sidebar is an upscale legally themed craft cocktail and tapas bar offering a refined yet playful escape for locals, tourists, and cocktail enthusiasts alike. With a menu of legally themed drinks like The Judge, The Arsonist, and 75 to Life, and a menu filled with incredible sharables and small plates, The Langley Sidebar is set to become the place people talk about and travel to from around the Pacific Northwest.
The Opportunity:
Bartenders and serves will not only help to extend the hours of this newly opened successful bar, they will also help shape the vibe, and the experience of a one-of-a-kind bar concept that is poised to become a must-visit spot on Whidbey Island. This is a rare opportunity to build something special, in a high-traffic tourist location with huge potential. Bartenders Will:
Lead a standout cocktail program with a legal themeCreate memorable drinks that draw people in and keep them coming backManage bar operationsMaintain a high level of hospitality and service during busy shiftsCollaborate on menu pairings with our kitchenCultivate a classy, welcoming, and destination-worthy bar experienceComply with liquor and food service laws and uphold best practices in safety and sanitation
Servers Will:
Maintain a high level of hospitality and service during busy shiftsCollaborate on menu pairings with our kitchenCultivate a classy, welcoming, and destination-worthy bar experienceComply with liquor and food service laws and uphold best practices in safety and sanitation
What You Bring:
3+ years of experience A passion for mixology and hospitalityCreative mindset with an eye for presentation and menu curationStrong work ethic, leadership potential, and attention to detailAbility to thrive in a startup environment and high-energy crowdMAST permit and WA food handlers card requiredThe compensation package includes a negotiable competitive wage and the potential to make significant tips with the small, but efficient staff. Off-island employees have a 15-minute beautiful ferry ride from Mukilteo. Successful applicants will be eligible for ferry reimbursement.
