Job Description

Join us for this incredible opportunity to be part of our Food & Beverage team as a Server and Bartender at Conversation Restaurant and Bar at Thompson Seattle!

As a Server & Bartender position, you will take on a variety of roles, including server, server assistant, and bartender. While serving, you will be responsible for submitting guest menu selections and presenting food and beverage preferences. The ideal candidate will become familiar with our menu and drink offerings, providing expert recommendations to our guests.

As a bartender, you ll craft and serve a variety of beverages, offering a curated experience that complements our vibrant atmosphere. Your ability to engage in casual conversation and showcase your skills in both service and bartending will create a memorable experience for all guests. Additionally, when scheduled as a server assistant, you will help clear and reset tables, assist in general restaurant preparation, and maintain a sanitary environment.

This role will involve supporting both Conversation Restaurant and In-Room Dining, providing flexibility and variety within the team.

This role will work both AM and PM shifts.
Qualifications:
Available to work mornings, evenings, and weekends.

A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.

Bartending experience required: Ability to craft cocktails, handle bar service, and manage bar responsibilities.

Refined verbal communication skills.

Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.

Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Thompson Seattle colleagues begin accruing Vacation Time on their first day of service. At six months of service, colleagues are vested in the time they have been accruing. Full Time & Part Time Colleagues are eligible for vacation time.

Sick Leave:

Pay ranges are listed on each job posting individually. This position receives service charge and additional gratuity per the guest s discretion.

Hourly role: The hourly rate for this position starts at $18.00 and receives service charge. Added gratuities provided by guests will be 100% retained by the colleague.

Hourly roles with five-year rates: The hourly starting rate for this position is $18.00 and receives service charge. Added gratuities provided by guests will be 100% retained by the colleague. This position also has an established rate for colleagues who remain in the position for five years, which is an additional $0.50 Hourly roles with seven-year rates: The hourly starting rate for this position is $18.00 and receives service charge. Added gratuities provided by guests will be 100% retained by the colleague. This position also has an established rate for colleagues who remain in the position for seven years, which is an additional $0.75 Hourly roles with ten-year rates: The hourly starting rate for this position is $18.00 and receives service charge.
