Job Description
Rocco's has been a part of Belltown for 14 years. During the pandemic we have grown from a hidden gem specialty cocktail bar with the best slice in town; to one of the largest volume, full-service restaurants in the neighborhood. We feature a well known and innovative bar program. We are currently looking to add a another host to the Rocco's crew.
The ideal candidate will:
Able to maintain a positive attitude and communicate respectively and cordially with coworkers and guests.
Have the ability to problem solve on the fly.
Feel comfortable multi-tasking at in a fast pace environment.
Experience with Toast, Open Table and Third party food delivery applications.2 Hosts Shifts, 2 Bar Backing Shifts Per Week -Position includes but not limited to; greeting and seating guests, managing "day of" reservations, ( entering, handling, boxing/bagging, labeling, distributing) online food orders (at times these can be very large orders), adjusting table arrangements for reservations, assisting the floor staff in running food and drinks, bussing tables and filling waters, Bar Backing Responsibilities.
Previous restaurant experience is strongly encouraged, though we are willing to train the right person with hospitality or customer service experience. After training is complete, most likely the schedule will consist of day and evening shifts. We are also expanding our in house delivery/catering. This would be an opportunity to pick up additional income if interested.
