About UsThe Watershed Pub & Kitchen opened in 2014 in the Thornton Place development of Seattle's Northgate neighborhood, adjacent to the Northgate Link Light Rail station. We are family owned and operated. Our kitchen serves scratch made pizzas, salads, sandwiches, pastas, appetizers, desserts and weekend brunch. Our full bar features a variety of local spirits, rotating craft beer/cider and wine. Both our food and beverage programs offer lots of opportunities for staff collaboration on weekly specials and seasonal menus.

We're always excited to bring on both seasoned veterans as well as folks with less experience. Attitude and work ethic matter more than anything. The RoleWe are looking for an energetic, reliable, and charismatic Bartender to join our team. You ll be the face of the bar, responsible for delivering excellent guest experiences, maintaining a clean workspace, and of course crafting consistent, high-quality drinks.
Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Experience:
Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
Drink Preparation:
Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to our recipes and standards.
Efficiency:
Manage high-volume service during peak hours without sacrificing quality.
Safety & Compliance:
Verify identification to ensure guests are of legal drinking age and monitor guest alcohol intake responsibly.
Maintenance:
Keep the bar area, glassware, and equipment sanitized and organized. Handle opening/closing duties as assigned.
QualificationsExperience:
Minimum 1 year of experience as a bartender in a fast-paced setting.
Knowledge:
Deep understanding of classic cocktails, beer styles, and wine. Knowledge of Toast is a bonus.
Soft Skills:
A "people person" with strong multitasking abilities and a calm demeanor under pressure. We operate on the principle that "The Pleasure is Ours." You will deliver service that is as high-energy as it is heartfelt.
Physical:
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to [50 lbs] (kegs/cases).
Certification:
Must have Mandatory Alcohol Server Training (MAST) permit and Washington State Food Worker Card.
