Job Description

PORT MADISON ENTERPRISES
Kiana Lodge Bartender General Position Summary:
Sets-up and breaks down bar service during normal shift. Makes cash transactions. On occasion may mix and serve drinks.
Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:
Takes & prepares drink orders Check and stock supplies during shift Provide excellent guest service Makes cash transactions
Secondary Functions:
Keeps bar clean and neat Other duties as assigned
Specific Job Skills:
Minimum of one (1) year of bartending TIPS training, Health Card Excellent communications skills Able to work in a busy atmosphere Cash transaction experience Good problem solving skills Education and/or
Experience:
High school diploma or GED. One (1) year of supervisory experience helpful.
Job Conditions:
Conditions include working in the Bar during busy times of the day and night, smoky, noisy and crowded conditions. Conditions will also include frequent interruptions, evenings, week-ends and holidays. Must make decisions regarding intoxicated guests in conjunction with policies.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 50 lb. while standing, twisting, or bending. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Manual and finger dexterity for operation of cash register and routine paperwork.
