Job Description

Overview We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment, with experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings. This role requires a strong understanding of food and beverage service, excellent time management skills, and proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS. The Bartender will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks efficiently, and ensuring all food safety standards are met. Previous experience in the food industry, retail math, and cash handling is highly desirable. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a timely manner Engage with customers to create a positive experience and promote sales of drinks and related products Operate POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order entry and cash handling Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area according to food safety standards Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during busy periods Restock supplies as needed and assist with inventory management Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and alcohol regulations Handle cash transactions accurately while providing excellent customer service Assist with catering events, banquets, or nightclub functions as required Set up bar efficiently for open Lift and change kegs when needed Maintain clean and sanitary glassware Help customers with orders by explaining beer and cocktails Making recommendations when appropriate Handle money and maintain an accurate cash drawer Periodically check on guests to handle issues promptly Maintain our high sanitation standards Countdown drawers at close of business Maintain a trustworthy, respectful and positive attitude Requirements Proven experience in food service or hospitality environments such as fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and sales transactions Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Experience in serving alcohol responsibly and understanding of liquor laws Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends as needed Previous experience in the food industry or retail math is advantageous Join our team to provide memorable experiences for our guests through exceptional service and expert drink preparation. This position is expected to have great communication skills, work well in a fast paced team environment, and provide high quality customer service. Bartender is in charge of maintaining an accurate cash drawer throughout the shift, keeping the bar area clean in accordance with company standards, as well as creating a safe, fun and energetic environment for all customers and staff.
