Job Description

Job Summary Eloura is seeking an experienced and passionate Lead Bartender to join our team. This leadership role is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences while overseeing bar operations, beverage program development, inventory management, and team training. The ideal candidate is highly organized, creative, and knowledgeable about cocktails, spirits, wine, and hospitality standards. This position offers the opportunity to contribute directly to menu development, operational efficiency, and the continued growth of our beverage program. Responsibilities Prepare and serve high-quality alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and presentation standards. Develop and maintain seasonal cocktail menus, specialty beverages, and beverage promotions. Manage bar inventory, including stock counts, ordering, receiving, and product rotation. Monitor beverage costs, minimize waste, and maintain proper portion control. Build and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers. Train, coach, and mentor bartenders to ensure consistency in beverage preparation, service standards, and guest interactions. Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Operate POS systems accurately and efficiently, including order processing and cash handling. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of all bar areas, equipment, and storage spaces. Collaborate with management to improve operational efficiency and guest satisfaction. Assist with private events, catering functions, and special promotions as needed. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of bartending experience, with previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, beer, wine, and beverage trends. Experience creating cocktail menus and managing beverage programs. Proven experience with inventory management, ordering, and cost control. Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast or similar platforms. Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong organizational and time management skills. Knowledge of food safety and responsible alcohol service practices. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
