Cafe & Bar Team Member Description :
Opening this summer, the Forge Sports Center is a brand new sport and entertainment facility featuring multi-use sport courts that will be available for futsal, pickleball, and volleyball. The facility will feature an on-site coffee shop and bar, which will serve pizza, sandwiches, and salads. We are seeking high energy, customer-focused candidates to join our new team as Cafe & Bar Team Members. These employees would typically work between 20-30 hours per week, depending on schedules and availability. Details below!
Job Responsibilities :
Prepare basic food items including pizza, sandwiches, salads, and coffee. Follow detailed food preparation instructions and maintain a focus on consistency. Utilize a variety of cooking equipment to prepare ingredients/menu items. Monitor orders and cooking times to ensure food is prepared correctly and efficiently. Greet customers and provide a high level of service to every guest. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following facility policies/procedures. Assist with maintenance of the cafe/bar areas including cleaning tables and equipment. Facilitate customer payment and financial transactions at the point of sale.
Qualifications:
Customer service experience is preferred. Experience in food preparation, food service, or similar is preferred. Ability to stand for long periods of time and able to move about the facility as necessary. Experience working in a team oriented environment is a plus. Strong attention to detail with an ability to handle multiple tasks at once. Applicants that are 18 years or older, and have or can obtain a WI bartenders license, are preferred.

Ideal candidates who enjoy working in an active, sport-focused environment. Willing to adjust specific job responsibilities during each shift as demand and staffing dictate. Strong communication skills and enjoy working in a team-oriented atmosphere. Friendly, calm demeanor and comfortable working during both slow and busy periods. Understand the importance of guest service and are willing to go above and beyond to foster a positive atmosphere for visitors to the facility.
