This is an opportunity to work in a refined, member-focused environment where attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine hospitality define the experience. Position Overview As a Bartender, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service while creating a welcoming and polished atmosphere for our members and their guests. This role requires strong technical skills, a deep knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, and a commitment to upholding the Club's high standards. Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages to Club standards Provide attentive, personalized service at the bar and in support of dining service Maintain expert knowledge of spirits, wine, and seasonal beverage offerings Ensure bar setup, cleanliness, and organization are consistently maintained Accurately process orders and handle member transactions Collaborate with service and culinary teams to ensure seamless execution Support Club events, including weddings, banquets, and private functions Uphold standards of professionalism, discretion, and member recognition Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines Qualifications Previous bartending experience in a private club, fine dining, or upscale hospitality environment preferred Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, wine, and spirits Professional, polished appearance and demeanor Excellent communication and guest service skills Ability to multitask and remain composed in a high-volume, high-expectation environment Team-oriented with strong attention to detail Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays throughout the season Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds Ability to work in a fast-paced indoor and outdoor environment Seasonal Details Seasonal employment: Spring through Fall Flexible scheduling based on Club operations and events Opportunity for continued or returning seasonal employment About

Milwaukee Country Club is seeking to expand its team. Founded in 1894, Milwaukee Country Club is Milwaukee's premier private, member-owned club. In 1911, the Club relocated to its picturesque 200-acre setting in River Hills, Wisconsin. The 18-hole course, designed by Harry Colt and Charles Alison, opened in 1929 and is consistently ranked among Golf Digest's 100 Greatest Golf Courses in America. Today, the Club serves approximately 470 members and offers an exceptional range of amenities, including practice facilities, overnight guest accommodations, tennis, pickleball and platform courts, croquet courts, an outdoor pool, winter recreation, and comprehensive junior programs. The stately 60,000-square-foot clubhouse features multiple dining venues and operates year-round, with the exception of March.
