Job Description

The Powder Horn Club is seeking a friendly, dependable Part‑Time Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating exceptional guest experiences in a welcoming, team‑oriented environment.
Job Summary:
The Bartender is integral to the guest experience and provides beverage services (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) to the guests of the property. The Bartender will service beverages at the facility and provide a high-quality service-oriented environment.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
1-2 years of bartending experience Must be of legal age to serve liquor according to state law Working knowledge of beer, wine and liquor and common drink recipes Must have strong customer/guest orientation Organized, able to work well in fast paced environment Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills Must be dependable
Responsibilities:
Maintain a professional appearance at all times Maintains a supply of all bar products/supplies, including all glassware, expendable paper and other supplies Maintains the sanitation and cleanliness of the bar area(s), glassware and equipment Assures that all laws applicable to beverage operations are consistently followed Collects payment for drinks served Greets and provides immediate attention to guests Learn the names of regulars and personally recognize them Monitor guest experience and take appropriate action to assure the best customer service. Inspects the bar prior to opening to ensure adequate supplies and inventory are available Prepares garnishes, mixes and pre-mixed drinks Performs clean-up and closing duties as assigned Adhering to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies including confirming legal drinking age and discontinuing service to intoxicated guests Implement and support all course policies and programs as communicated by management Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager This job description is not an exclusive or exhaustive list of all job functions that an associate in this position may be asked to perform from time to time.
