POSITION SUMMARY
The ideal Bellhop candidate offers a warm welcome to our guests, greets guests at the curb to open doors, assists with guests luggage, informs the guest of Hotel Drisco amenities and features complementing our elevated luxury and service, and offers front desk support as needed. The position has varied hours including morning, afternoon, and evening shifts. The Bellhop must exceed guest expectations and offer outstanding service that is both warm and engaging and feel comfortable working in inclement weather as needed. The position will receive cross training in several departments to assist with departmental needs when others are on breaks or lunch.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Greets guests in a warm and engaging manner. Assist with luggage through check-in from vehicle to guest room. Shares hotel information, SF points of interest and entertainment attractions. Assists guests with luggage for room moves. Manage luggage storage areas and retrieve for room delivery as needed. Give room a thorough sight inspection while placing luggage, confirming furnishings and amenities are correct and in order and there are no cleanliness challenges. Identifies and explains all features of room such as the thermostat control, clock radio, television operation, and door snake. Anticipates the guest's needs and responds promptly. Maintains positive guest relations at all time. Assist with front desk room deliveries as requested. Retrieves and/or delivers articles for laundry. Assists guests and request transportation services when necessary. Maintains an accurate log record of packages shipped and collected. Delivers packages, suitcases, and amenities to guests. Monitors and maintains the appearance of the sitting room, lobby, facade/exterior of front of building, and luggage storage area. Evening shift supports room service when room service attendant is on lunch.

OTHER:
Regular and punctual attendance in conformance with the schedule is essential to the successful performance of this position. Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the Hotel Drisco. Upon employment, all employees are required to fully comply with the Hotel Drisco's rules and regulations for the safe and efficient operation of the facility.

- Meets legal age requirements for the position.
EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or any other combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities. High school diploma is preferred. Previous hospitality experience is preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must have a valid California Driver License and a good driving record.
