Role:
The Warwick Hotel- Denver is looking for an amazing Valet/Bellman, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and positive first impression for guests arriving at our establishment. Your primary responsibility is to assist guests with their luggage, ensuring a smooth and efficient arrival and departure experience. You will also provide information about the hotel's amenities and local attractions, enhancing the overall guest experience. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills to interact courteously and professionally with guests from diverse backgrounds. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute significantly to guest satisfaction and the reputation of our hospitality services.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to lift and carry heavy luggage safely and efficiently. Strong communication and customer service skills. Basic knowledge of English to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role. Multilingual abilities to assist a diverse guest population. Familiarity with local area and attractions to provide accurate guest information. Valid driver's license for valet duties.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record Responsibilities:
Greet guests promptly and courteously upon arrival and departure. Assist guests with loading and unloading luggage to and from vehicles and guest rooms. Provide guests with information about hotel services, facilities, and local points of interest. Coordinate with front desk and housekeeping staff to ensure timely room readiness and guest requests. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lobby, entrance areas, and bellmen stations. Handle guest inquiries and requests efficiently, escalating issues to management when necessary. Ensure the safety and security of guests' belongings during handling and transport.
Skills:
The required skills such as strong communication and customer service are essential for engaging with guests warmly and professionally, ensuring their needs are met promptly. Physical stamina and safe luggage handling skills are used daily to assist guests efficiently while maintaining safety standards. Multilingual abilities, when present, enhance communication with international guests, improving their overall experience. Knowledge of the local area allows bellmen to provide valuable recommendations, enriching guest stays. Coordination and teamwork skills are vital for working seamlessly with front desk and housekeeping staff to deliver a smooth and enjoyable guest experience.
