Job Description

Lobby Attendant 3004 West Us Highway 90, Lake City, FL 32055 From $14 an hour - Full-time From $14 an hour - Full-time We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Lobby Attendant to ensure our lobby and public areas consistently reflect the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation. This role is critical in creating a positive first impression and supporting an exceptional guest experience in a professional hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the lobby and all assigned public areas in immaculate, guest-ready condition at all times, not just during scheduled cleaning intervals
  • Perform continuous cleaning and detailed upkeep of floors, entryways, windows, furniture, restrooms, and all high-touch surfaces
  • Sanitize guest-facing and employee-touch surfaces frequently and consistently in accordance with brand standards and health regulations
  • Monitor the lobby throughout the shift and respond immediately to spills, debris, clutter, or safety hazards
  • Empty trash receptacles before they reach capacity, replace liners, and ensure waste areas remain clean, discreet, and odor-free
  • Proactively restock and maintain all lobby supplies including hand sanitizer, tissues, brochures, and guest amenities
  • Conduct regular inspections of the lobby and public spaces, identifying cleanliness, maintenance, or safety issues and reporting them promptly
  • Assist with minor maintenance tasks as assigned and communicate larger repair needs without delay
  • Manage time effectively to complete all assigned duties while maintaining consistent cleanliness during high-traffic periods
  • Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining strict adherence to cleanliness, safety, and brand standards
  • Maintain a professional appearance and courteous, guest-focused demeanor at all times, offering assistance when appropriate
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in housekeeping, custodial services, or public area maintenance preferred
  • Knowledge of commercial cleaning methods, chemicals, and equipment is a plus
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and safety
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 lbs
  • Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift
