Job Description

Join our team and be part of our Nautical Art Deco style Boutique Hotel, located in South Beach. At the Albion Hotel, staff members work closely together to provide hospitable accommodations, outstanding guest service, satisfaction and loyalty to our customers. The Bellman ensures there is clear communication between Valet, Bell Stand and Front Desk so that there is a seamless arrival experience. Bellman Responsibilities and Duties Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day Maintain and improve the quality of the guest experience at all times Be familiar with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately. Ensuring guest satisfaction. Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards Communicate anticipated business demands daily with each employee (arrivals/departures, group functions, etc). Accommodate all guest requests in an accurate and efficient manner Anticipate guests' need, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests Coordinate group luggage requirements Monitor and maintain the condition of lobby, hotel entrance, and luggage storage areas Transport luggage from time of arrival to departure to include room moves Correctly tag, store and retrieve luggage from holding room. Show guest how to access the room with the key card Other Duties/Responsibilities Support and assist Front Office Team Foster and grow working relationships with other departments Maintain and improve the quality of all public areas Qualifications High school diploma/GED required 1+ year experience as Hotel bellman experience preferred Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Exceptional customer service skills While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
