JOB OVERVIEW
The Cabin Runner is responsible for ensuring the staff is well-supplied by delivering and carrying products to and from the operation. Additionally, the Cabin Runner (Hotshot) is responsible for cleaning and maintaining designated areas within the assignment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following, but are not limited to: Responsible for always answering and executing assignments as instructed via radio when called. Responsible for fulfilling the assignments given in a timely manner that includes but is not limited to: Replace all kits Cleaning vomits, lavatories, blood, ECC (Enhanced COVID Cleaning), and other special requests as needed Assist crews with aircraft cleaning as necessary Collect and dispose of international trash Guard planes Delivering provisions to the crews Support ramp cleaning (pickups) /crew truck when needed. Transport crew from one point to the next according to assignment Fill out the tour of duty (assignment log) Support the rug trucks Remove gum from the seats, carpet, and other areas as needed Responsible for window/windshield wash Advise as assignments are cleared Cover as a driver/agent on a crew when needed by the operation Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION, LICENSE, and/or
CERTIFICATION
Must possess at least a high school diploma or equivalent Must have a valid driver's license for AOA certification
EXPERIENCE
Airport or relevant experience preferred SKILL and/or
ABILITIES
Ability to speak and understand Spanish / English Strong self-organization and self-management skills, with an emphasis on self-initiation and follow-through Requires flexibility to work additional hours beyond the regular shift, on short notice, and as needed during irregular operations. Must be able to obtain a SIDA Badge from the airport Must have schedule flexibility for the weekend, holiday, and night shifts Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds in confined spaces Must be able to stand, lift, bend, push, and pull for extended periods of time. Must be willing to work outside in all types of weather and elevated noise levels within the airport environment TRAVEL Negligible
