Parking/Guest Service Attendant Beachcomber Resort and Club - 3.6 Pompano Beach, FL Job Details Full-time From $17.50 an hour 1 hour ago Benefits Free parking Paid time off Qualifications Customer communication Outdoor work Hotel and accommodations guest luggage handling Property maintenance Patrolling Full Job Description Job Overview Beachcomber Resort & Club is seeking a dependable, energetic, and customer-focused Parking & Guest Services Attendant to join our team. This position is responsible for actively monitoring and patrolling the resort's parking areas to ensure parking remains available for hotel guests, restaurant patrons, event attendees, vendors, and authorized visitors. The ideal candidate will enjoy working outdoors, interacting with guests, and maintaining a visible presence throughout the property. This is not a stationary position. Team members will be expected to continuously patrol the parking lots and resort grounds throughout their shift, assist arriving guests, and help maintain an organized and welcoming arrival experience. As Beachcomber continues to enhance guest services, this role is expected to evolve into a broader Guest Services position. Candidates should be interested in growing with the resort and may have the opportunity to become part of our Bell Services team as that department is introduced ahead of the winter season. Duties Continuously patrol hotel parking lots and designated parking areas throughout the shift Ensure parking spaces are used only by hotel guests, restaurant patrons, event attendees, vendors, and approved visitors Maintain a highly visible presence throughout the property to discourage unauthorized parking and other unwanted activity Greet arriving guests and visitors in a friendly and professional manner Direct guests to the Front Desk, restaurant, event spaces, beach access, and other areas of the resort as needed Help maintain an organized and welcoming arrival experience at the resort entrance Keep the porte-cochère and guest arrival areas clear of unattended vehicles and congestion Assist with traffic flow during busy arrival and departure periods Politely approach and assist guests and visitors as needed Identify unauthorized vehicles and issue warnings in accordance with hotel policies Coordinate towing of unauthorized vehicles when authorized by management Assist guests with luggage and provide general guest service support when needed Provide directions and information about the resort and surrounding area Report suspicious activity, safety concerns, maintenance issues, or property damage Assist with parking operations during busy periods, holidays, and special events Maintain logs of incidents, warnings, and enforcement actions Additional Responsibilities Because this position is primarily outdoors, there may be periods of inclement weather or reduced parking enforcement activity. During these times, team members may be assigned to assist the Resort Maintenance Department with light-duty projects and property upkeep to maintain a full work schedule.

Property inspections Light painting and touch-up work Organizing storage and work areas Assisting with event setup and breakdown Grounds and property support Other general resort projects as assigned Qualifications Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to remain calm and professional during difficult interactions Reliable transportation and punctual attendance Ability to walk, patrol, and stand for extended periods throughout a 10-hour shift Comfortable working outdoors in South Florida weather conditions Ability to lift and assist with guest luggage when needed Flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends, holidays, holiday weekends, and special events Previous hospitality, parking enforcement, bell service, security, maintenance, or customer service experience is preferred but not required If you enjoy being active, working outdoors, interacting with guests, and helping maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming resort environment, we encourage you to apply today and join the Beachcomber Resort & Club team.
