Drivers, Canoe/Kayak Rental Shuttle

Position Title:

Canoe/Kayak Shuttle Drivers, Cape Leisure Anastasia State Park Overview:

Cape Leisure provides visitor services at Anastasia State Park in St. Augustine, Florida under a concession agreement with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. Interface with park guests and meet their needs by assisting with and accepting payment for retail and rental orders, launching paddlecraft, answering questions and ensuring that the work location is well stocked with product, clean and presentable. Pick up guests and equipment in a shuttle van and transport them back to the state park. We're currently hiring a van shuttle driver for our guided tour from Anastasia Watersports to the St. Augustine Lighthouse.

Job responsibilities include:

Unload rental boats from the transport trailer and return the boats to storage racks/yard Move boats to and from the water and assist guests with boat boarding Provide courteous, friendly and safe service to our paddling guests Give good directions to guests Wash and help repair boats Drive our Ford Transit 15-passenger van and trailer, pick up paddlers and their boats at the St. Augustine Lighthouse and return them to their starting point at Anastasia Watersports, just down the street. Keep our vans and trailers clean Complete a daily vehicle inspection Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Knowledge Required:

Previous experience in a food, retail, attraction or other customer-focused setting preferred, but not required. Excellent guest service skills. Clean driving record. Must be able to pass a Drug Test Must pass a DOT physical Must be willing to work weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to move, stand, stoop and bend for an entire 8 hour shift. Tasks require consistent use of both arms and legs. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and carry for short distances. Must be willing to tolerate working outdoors and in warm interior environments. Must be able to visually inspect condition of facilities and equipment. AM Work Remotely No Pay:

$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
