Job Description

The bell attendant is responsible for delivering a warm, personalized arrival and departure experience for guests a our beach resort. This role assists guest with luggage, provides orientation to the property and offer thoughtful recommendations that enhance the overall resort experience. The Bell Attendant serves as the welcoming ambassador of the resort maintaining a polished appearance, anticipating guests needs and ensuring efficient courteous service at all times. Exceptional communication skills, attention to detail and a passion for hospitality are essential to creating memorable first and last impressions. This is a tipped position.

Greet all guests in the lobby or at your post in a warm and professional manner, make them feel welcome and anticipate their needs before they arise Recognize all returning and VIP guests, and welcome them back Assist guests with their luggage and acknowledge them by name Escort all guests checking in to their rooms following resort procedure Inform guests about all resort and guest room features, resort facilities, and emergency procedures Make deliveries to guest rooms as instructed Store and retrieve luggage and other objects for guests
Qualifications:
Proficient in English Ability to stand on your feet for several hours High School diploma Previous guest service Previous customer service experience preferred Excellent communication skills The company also conducts post-offer employment verification, motor vehicle, and criminal background checks.
