Job Description

Position Overview:
As a Bell Attendant at Edgewood Tahoe, you will provide personalized service, assist with luggage, and ensure that guests' needs are met with professionalism, efficiency, and warmth. Your role is critical in maintaining the high standards of hospitality that our resort is known for, offering guests an unforgettable stay.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with unloading luggage. Escort guests to their rooms, providing a brief overview of the room's amenities and resort facilities. Safely transport guests' luggage to and from rooms, ensuring items are handled with care. Provide information on resort amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience. Offer assistance with transportation arrangements, including taxis, private car services, and shuttle services. Assist guests with special requests, such as delivering items to rooms or arranging for personal items to be sent to the front desk. Maintain effective communication with the Front Desk, Concierge, Housekeeping, and other departments to ensure seamless service. Anticipate guest needs and exceed expectations by providing proactive, personalized service. Store luggage as needed for guests, offering secure storage until departure. Assist guests during departure by coordinating luggage transportation and ensuring timely service. Uphold the resort's high standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction. Perform other related duties as assigned to support the overall success of the team and business.
Qualifications and Skills:
Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort environment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on guest satisfaction. Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to safely lift, move, and stack items weighing up to 50 lbs. Able to perform physical tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods. Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
