Job Summary:
SUMMARY The Golf Attendant is responsible for responsible for managing golf operations, maintaining the golf course, and providing excellent customer service. They are responsible for assisting golfers with their clubs and golf carts, as well as providing guests with golf-related directions, events, and great conversation. If you love to talk golf, this is the job for you! The Golf Attendant shall strive to provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests at all times. They will be responsible for exemplifying the SCP's Culture & Core Values.
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of the game of golf required. Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with urgency and empathy. Professional in appearance and demeanor. Ability to learn, understand, and work within POS, PMS, CRM, and other Hospitality-specific software systems. Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with guests, vendors, and team members. Must have the ability to resolve problems and/or conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner. Must have a valid State-Issued Driver's License. Ability to calculate figures and amounts using basic math. Knowledge of maintenance of greens, fairways, and roughs. Knowledge of the game of golf, golf rules, and methods of play.
PREFERENCES
Previous customer service experience preferred.
JOB DUTIES
Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day. Observing guest reactions and conferring frequently with team members to ensure guest satisfaction. Maintain positive guest relations at all times. Resolve guest complaints to over-the-moon satisfaction. Follow Hotel policies with lost and found items. Adhere to Hotel requirements for guest and team member accidents or injuries and in emergency situations. Continuously promote sanitation, safety, and security efforts.
Customer Service:
Greet and assist golfers with enthusiasm, providing information on tee times, course conditions, and other relevant details. Assist in organizing and facilitating golf events, tournaments, and outings. Respond promptly and courteously to golfer inquiries and requests.
Bag Drop and Club Handling:
Manage the bag drop area efficiently, assisting golfers with unloading and loading golf bags. Handle golf clubs with care, ensuring they are stored securely and returned promptly to golfers. Reports to the Director of Golf. •
